Alvord Desert,OR Elopement | Eli + Josh
Eli and Josh are some of our closest clients. not only did we get the incredible opportunity to film their elopement in the Alvord Desert in Oregon but they eventually hired us for a steamy shoot and to do a GIF shoot of their pregnancy. Seeing these two lovers go from one stage of life to another was pure magic. and they’ve promised to hire us one day for a vow renewal🙌🏼
Their Elopement in the Alvord Desert allowed us to experience filming in a landscape that was unlike any we’ve filmed in before. The night before their ceremony we all got together in the airbnb bunkers we were staying at and while we were exploring the wildlife and admiring the desert flowers, a MASIVE weather system came in from the south.
We were on a dry lake bed and the effect of the rain and wind creating a wall that pushed dust up before it was unlike anything we’ve ever seen…well J is from Florida and has experienced hurricane weather systems…. but this short lived rain storm that moved through the valley captivated our senses and heightened our understanding of how powerful this landscape was. We even saw a wild hare before leaving and were so grateful to the Alvord desert for all the big and small experiences we were given while there.
